Hadramout’s Governorate Deputy for Valley and Desert Affairs Issam Habrish AlKathiry praised the great efforts of civil society organizations in supporting local authorities in overcoming the obstacles and challenges resulting from the exceptional circumstances in the country.
During his meeting with Sela Foundation’s Executive Director Ali Hassan Ba Shamakh, the deputy governor expressed the local authority’s pride in the diversity of the disciplines through which civil society organizations operate and the impact on meeting the necessary disciplines of society.
Stressing the local authority’s eagerness to strengthen its relationship and partnerships with civil society organizations as a key and active partner alongside the local authority in various developments, services and awareness activities.
At the end of the meeting, which was attended by the General Director of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the Valley and Desert Abdullah Ba Gaham, Sela Foundation for Development was awarded the Shield of Loyalty provided by the local authority, the offices of Health and Population, Social affairs and Work In Hadramaut valley and desert for the Foundation’s active and extraordinary role in supporting and operating kidney centers and financing various projects and programs in the service of the community.
