The intensification of the conflict in Yemen has led to the emergence of enormous protection needs for women and children from the displaced and the host communities, which confirms the importance of strengthening efforts to protect civilians in Yemen, and based on its humanitarian responsibilities to enhance protection for affected local communities, the Selah Foundation for Development has worked to provide services through Basic response to alleviating hunger and promoting nutrition for survivors and those affected by the conflict, providing medical and educational assistance as well as psychosocial support activities for abused children and awareness and advocacy programs for the prevention of gender-based violence and awareness of the effects of war remnants.
