Today, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has signed an agreement to implement the project of ” Winter bag” which aims to distribute winter blankets, pajamas and hats for children in 11 governorates in Yemen.
The agreement has been signed by Mr. Ahmed Ben Ali Albaiz, assistant of the general supervisor of programs and operation affairs at the King Center and the executive director of Selah Foundation for Development , Mr. Ali Hassan Bashemakh, the executive partner, in the head quarter in Riyadh.
The bag consists of ( warming blankets, jacket and hats for children, females and males and pajamas for men and women).
The projects targets displaced and poorest families to reduce their agonies during the chill days of winter . The beneficiaries form this project are 33.600 individuals in governorates of Sana’a , Al-baidh, Taiz, Mareb, Aljouf, Addaleh, Shbowa, Hadhramout, Lahj, Aden, and Al-Marah).
The executive director of Selah Foundation has paid tribute to the active role of Saudi Kingdom in Yemen and he has expressed his appreciations of the great relief efforts of King Salman Center which aims to reduce the sufferings of Yemenis particularly during intensive cold winter.
Furthermore, Mr. Bashemakh has declared that the partnership with King is on-going in several aspects to serve Yemen and Yemenis.
