On October 7th 2019, Sela Foundation for Development launched the 3rd medical camp for (ENT and Opthalmology) at Al-Ghaida Central Hospital, Under the generous patronage of Al-Mahra Governor Sheikh Rajeh Saeed Ba kreet, Supervised by the Public Health and Population Office, Financed by Sela Foundation for Development, Implemented by Taiba Foundation for Development.
The launch of the medical camp came after the signing of the memorandum of understanding to carry out the camp by the local authority of Al-Mahra, and the public health and population office at the governorate، and Sela Foundation for Development.
The camp will conduct more than 100 surgical surveys between (ENT and Opthalmology). A joint medical team is participating from Al Ghaida central hospital and another from outside Al-Mahra. The camp lasts for a week and its aim is to conduct surgeries, such as Tinkering Ear Drums , Modificating the Nasal Barrier, Extraction of Tonsils & Adenoids, Suction of White water in eyes and Cultivating lenses, Removal of Pterygium and fatty cysts in the eyes.
